I am a Canadian citizen and have 12 years of Administration and Management experience in Pakistan Navy /Maritime Security Agency. I meet all the requirements for this job in terms of experience and skills. As a Public Relations Officer to the Chief of the Naval Staff (CNS) I have an extensive experience in:
· Devising and implementing the communications policies, strategies and initiatives for the promotion of Pakistans Navy's Public image
· Obtaining, analyzing, and disseminating information requested by politicians, senior officers and the public, regarding the role and mission of Pakistan Navy.
· Carrying out research and analysis for a variety projects related to communication policy research.
· Collecting data and information about special events such as sports competitions and Defence Day Celebrations and using this data for conducting and managing media coverage of these events and for analysing communication policies and strategies
· Preparing correspondence and reports in order to plan and conduct the media coverage for the VIP visits

I have just done my Master of Engineering, Engineering Management from the University of Ottawa. I have also done a specialized training from the Information Services Academy associated with the Ministry of Information, Government of Pakistan. This ten months intensive training program is designed to train Information Service Group Officers of the Central Superior Services of Pakistan.
I have also taken the following courses in my Masters at the University of Ottawa: Strategic Marketing Management, Strategic Marketing Context, Consumer Products Marketing, Seminar in Marketing Strategies, E- Commerce Systems for Electronic Commerce, E-Business Electronic Business Strategies, Business Telecommunications Systems and Issues In Management and Operation Of Communication Networks. Public Relations Officer to the Chief of Naval Staff

Magazine Editor
· Arranged the publication of a monthly magazine, "Pakistan Navy News" on a regular basis, as a Magazine Editor.

DESCRIPTION OF SPECIALIZED TRAINING
This ten months intensive training program is designed to train Information Service Group Officers of the Central Superior Services of Pakistan .The training program consists of over 1100 hours (equivalent to 30 Graduate Courses, of three credits each) of lectures, seminars, visits to various media outlets, Public Relations departments of various levels of Government, Private Organizations, to all the provincial capitals and other places of interest in Pakistan.
During this training program, the officers were given an opportunity to meet with the Chief Ministers, Governors of all the provinces and with the President and Prime Minister of Azad Kashmir, at the time of the visits of officers to the provincial capitals and the capital of Azad Kashmir.
The officers were also provided with an opportunity to meet with all the Heads of Federal and Provincial Ministries. During these meetings the Senior Officers arranged briefings for the under training officers, to provide them with information, about their areas of responsibilities. The officers were also sent to the Secretariat training Institute for one month. This training Institute provides training to officers of the Federal government in service writing.
In terms of formal instructions, professionals from various levels of governments and private businesses were invited to deliver lectures to the under training officers. In addition to these professionals the academy also have a regular teaching staff. The main focus of the, in class instructions, was on various areas of Public Relations, Mass Communications, Journalism, Current Affairs and International Relations.
